The smart Europe GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of smart Automobile Co., Ltd. and has been established to supply, sell and service future smart vehicles in the European market

based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Stuttgart, Germany handles distribution, marketing and after-sales activities for Europe.
Dirk Adelmann

Mr. Dirk Adelmann has taken the reins of smart Europe GmbH as CEO, applying his experience to leverage the full potential of the joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Geely for the European markets. Dirk has almost 20 years of experience within the Daimler Group, a big portion of it in executive management functions in Germany & abroad.

Mr. Martin Günther, CFO of smart Europe GmbH, brings in extensive knowledge in the field of finance. Martin has worked for Daimler since 2005, holding management positions within Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH and Daimler Global Service & Parts Operations.
