smart Europe GmbH is now a certified Great Place to Work®

A company’s visible success is based on the – often invisible – small successes in the background. Together, the teams at smart Europe have built a great foundation of corporate culture and team spirit, which convinced the independent international research and consulting institute "Great Place to Work®" (GPTW) to certify smart Europe an attractive workplace.  

Ann-Katrin Eisele, Head of HR smart Europe: “smart Europe was founded almost three years ago and grew from eight employees in July 2020 to more than 250 employees Europe-wide within 2.5 years. Such growth needs a lot of attention and commitment from our employees, which is why we are even more proud to now officially be a ‘Great Place To work’. This proves that our values are lived from within and are highly regarded by our employees. Receiving this certificate for our workplace culture is a wonderful recognition of our path, which we will continue to follow and expand in the future as a lived practice.  

The "Great Place to Work® Certified" program by the international research and consulting institute stands for a special commitment to shaping workplace culture and is awarded according to a secure procedure. The components are independent, anonymous feedback of the employees and an analysis of measures and programs of the personnel work. 

The anonymous survey conducted by GPTW measured a wide range of factors such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride and team spirit. Questions and topics like how work-life balance is managed, health and further development are promoted, or to what extent and with what offerings the company supports social commitment and diversity were evaluated. In addition, employees were able to rate the recruiting as well as daily working life at the company.
