Following an exclusive Global Brand Event this week, the brand is bringing its "Change of Perspectives" campaign to life on the show floor. Marking a leap in its strategic brand and product evolution, the international smart team is presenting the auto show debuts of the smart Concept #21 and the brand's first-ever premium fastback sedan smart #6 EHD2, together with the full lineup of smart #1, smart #3, and smart #5 models at the booth in hall E4.

Preserving the ultra-compact form factor of the iconic urban two-seater, the smart Concept #2 brings the claim "Unconventional. Again." to an auto show stage for the first time. Designed to be engineered on the brand’s all-new, self-developed proprietary Electric Compact Architecture (ECA), the smart Concept #2 represents the vision of an ultimate all-electric city car. The new ECA architecture will provide the basis for a next-generation electric drivetrain, advanced safety and an urban driving experience that’s unlike anything, ingeniously maximizing interior space through a signature “wheels-at-the-corners” setup within an ultra-compact 2,792 mm overall length. Delivering unmatched urban agility, the smart Concept #2 achieves a tight 6.95-meter turning circle for effortless maneuvering. Beyond practicality, the advanced ECA platform empowers the Concept #2 with modern electric performance, envisioning a range of nearly 300 km , alongside rapid DC fast-charging that would charge from 10% to 80% SOC within under 20 minutes and innovative Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities.
The Concept #2 interprets urban mobility through a design-inspired lens, where "Function becomes Fashion." Its distinctive exterior features a striking matte white and warm gold two-tone palette, evoking the clean minimalism of modernist fashion. Every detail serves as a nod to haute couture, from structural lines influenced by the elegant straps of luxury handbags to unique tire treads inspired by premium sneakers. It is a seamless blend of contrasts that honors the fearless spirit of the very first smart two-seater while elevating it for a new electric era. The production model smart #2 is set to make its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026.
