Ronald Ramak holds the position of CEO at smart Netherlands and is responsible for establishing the country's national smart organization.
Ronald is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance, operations, and sales within the FMCG retail and automotive industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business. Ronald began his career in the FMCG sector with a management traineeship at Makro Nederland, where he excelled in various roles including Assistant Buyer, Business Analyst, and Business Controller for multiple disciplines.
Ronald then transitioned to the automotive sector, joining Hyundai Motor Nederland. He started as a Business Management Consultant and eventually became responsible for Business Operations and Development, overseeing the commercial plan, accounting, and the development and implementation of IT products.
Later, Ronald worked for CarNext.com as Regional Sales Manager responsible for Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and Greece, before advancing to the Head of Operations in the Netherlands, responsible for Logistics & Compound, Finance, After Sales and Customer Care.
Throughout his career, Ronald has demonstrated a strong ability to drive operational excellence and sales growth. Since October 2023, Ronald has been the CEO of smart Netherlands B.V. and is helping to write its next successful chapter.
