Chief Executive Officer, smart France

Mr. Cyril Bravard serves as CEO smart Automobile France SAS. In his function, he is in charge of building up the national smart organisation. Prior to this, Cyril held several management positions in Sales and Marketing within Mercedes-Benz France and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services France.

After earning a master’s degree at Inseec Business School, Cyril started his career in 1995 at a bank as Corporate Business Manager and in 1997 decided to join Daimler as Zone Manager Vans and Trucks within Mercedes-Benz Financial Services France. From 2002 to 2010, Cyril was part of the Trucks business unit where he served as both Marketing & Communication Manager and Retail Sales Manager. During this time, he developed a know-how for dealer network management. In 2010, Cyril came back to Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and was promoted to Sales and Marketing Director, where he successfully led a new acquisitions and portfolio growth strategy.

At the same time, he completed his educational path by earning an executive MBA in corporate governance & business ethics at Lake Constance Business School and a certificate of advanced studies in corporate social responsibility at the University St. Gallen.#

In 2014, Cyril moved to the Mercedes-Benz Cars business unit where he took over the position of Fleet Sales and Used Cars Director.
From 2018 to 2021, Cyril completed his wholesale experience, joining the Own Retail France organisation. As Head of Transformation, he oversaw several reorganisations and restructuring projects to improve Own Retail performance and efficiency.

As of April 2021, he has taken over the role of CEO smart France.
