Chief Executive Officer, smart UK Automotive Ltd.

Mr. Jason Allbutt serves as CEO of smart UK Automotive Ltd. With over 25 years of experience in the auto industry, he is responsible for building the smart brand within the UK.

After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with an accounting and finance degree in 1995, Jason initially joined Mercedes-Benz UK working in the finance team.  Leaving finance as a qualified accountant, he led teams in a variety of roles across the company including sales, planning and product management.  During that time Jason was fundamental in the achievement of Mercedes-Benz Cars recent success in sales performance, customer satisfaction and retailer relationship results. 

In 2020, Jason joined the Executive Management Team at Mercedes-Benz UK and successfully launched the Agency model in the UK.

As a passionate advocate for electric vehicles, Jason is building the brand further within the UK, working closely with the retailer network and delivering a truly outstanding experience for smart customers.

As of February 2024, he has taken over the role as CEO smart UK Automotive Ltd.
