Mr. Remo Guthauser serves as CEO smart Schweiz GmbH. In his role, he is in charge of building up the national smart organisation and building a team with a passionate, ambitious and curious spirit on innovation.

Remo has more than 10 years of experience within the Swiss automotive market, a significant portion of it in retail and new mobility. After his commercial apprenticeship at a Volkswagen dealer, Remo found his passion in sales and entered the Top Sales Team for Audi. During his time there, he extended his qualifications with national diplomas in sales and marketing. From 2012 on, he was responsible for the Audi sales team in Zurich.

After a year in the oil industry and abroad, he decided to return to the automotive business. In his role at the AMAG Innovation & Venture LAB, he was responsible for an innovative and disruptive concept for e-mobility. Later on, Remo brought his retail experience to autoSense, a joint venture between AMAG and Swisscom to usher in new automotive connectivity services. In 2019, this experience helped him build up Clyde, a fully digital car subscription service, as a core member responsible for customer care, business operation processes, sales and business development.
